Emergency Sewer Line Replacement
The Problem
A homeowner noticed sewage backing up into their home after heavy rain. Our camera inspection revealed a 60-year-old clay sewer line had completely collapsed in the yard between the house and the street, leaving the family without functional plumbing.
Our Solution
We showed the homeowner the camera footage first, so they understood exactly why a full replacement — not a spot patch — was the right call. We excavated the failing 65-foot run, replaced it with new schedule-40 PVC, handled the permit and city inspection, and restored the surface over the trench.
The Result
Full sewer flow was restored, and the new line is built to last for decades. We backfilled and graded the yard back once the city signed off on the work.
“Ernie's showed me the camera footage, explained exactly what was wrong, and had my sewer working again fast. No surprises on the bill.”
